Is Kalent compliant with data protection regulations like the GDPR?
Yes. Although GDPR is a European regulation, Kalent has implemented strong internal processes aligned with international data privacy standards, including GDPR principles. Here's how we ensure compliance and accountability:
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for overseeing all internal data protection processes.
All data processing activities are documented and reviewed regularly to ensure purpose limitation and legitimacy.
Kalent is registered with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) and can provide audit documentation upon request.
Are individuals informed about how their data is used?
Yes, transparency is a core principle of our approach:
Individuals can opt out at any time, and opt-out requests are actively monitored and processed by our DPO.
What does Kalent do to ensure compliance when working with clients?
We work closely with our clients to maintain best practices in data privacy and ensure full transparency. Specifically:
Client teams are trained to use Kalent responsibly, including how to handle opt-out requests.
If someone requests to have their data deleted, we honor that request immediately.
Kalent is trusted by nearly 200 companies, including 10+ leading corporations listed on the CAC 40, who have all conducted due diligence on our compliance processes.
How to respond to someone who challenges being contacted or asks to be removed?
You can reassure the person: the contact details come from GDPR-compliant partners, and the individuals concerned were informed (for example via SMS) that they were in these lists and of their right to opt out. A number may therefore never have been shared on social media yet still be available through these sources.
If the person wants to be removed, ask them to send us a message stating the relevant phone number and their wish to be taken off our lists. The right to erasure is applied immediately upon receipt of the request.
