Message sending follows these rules:
Customizable daily quota
You can set a maximum number of messages to be sent per day (default: 30). This helps you control your outreach pace and stay under LinkedIn’s radar.
Immediate sending if quota not reached
Messages are sent almost instantly if the daily quota hasn’t been reached. A slight random delay (from a few seconds to one minute) is applied to avoid being flagged by LinkedIn’s detection systems.
Automatic scheduling if quota is reached
If you’ve hit your daily limit, the remaining messages are automatically scheduled for the following day—and so on until all messages are sent.
Follow-up messages in your sequence are sent on business days, between 8 AM and 6 PM (only if a message template is configured).
Why don’t I see a candidate’s reply or connection acceptance instantly in Kalent?
LinkedIn synchronization
Kalent does not sync with LinkedIn in real-time. Here's what you need to know:
Synchronization happens 3 times a day, only during business hours.
This may cause a delay of several hours before certain actions (like a reply or a connection acceptance) appear in Kalent.
👉 Example:
A candidate accepts your connection request at 9:00 AM. If the next sync is scheduled for 1:00 PM, you won’t see the update in Kalent until the afternoon.
In a nutshell:
Messages are sent automatically based on your daily quota.
A small random delay is added to each message to avoid LinkedIn restrictions.
Kalent syncs with LinkedIn 3 times per day, so don’t worry if things don’t show up instantly.
