How do I filter and sort candidates in the shortlist/listing tab?

From the Listing tab, filter your favorites and sort the full table, not only the page on screen.

Written by Vincent Maillard de la Morandais

In a sourcing, the Listing tab holds your favorites. Filter and the column headers apply to the full list, including candidates who are not on the page you are looking at.

Open the filters

Filter sits on the right of the bar. A purple count shows how many filters from this menu are active. Open a submenu, then tick one or more values. You can type in the submenu field to shorten the list. If nothing can be ticked, the submenu shows No results.

Submenus stack: a candidate must match every submenu you used. Inside one submenu, several ticks mean the candidate only needs to match one of them.

The status chips on the left stay outside Filter. They combine with it. Reset filters, at the bottom of the menu, clears only the filters from Filter. Statuses and the search stay as they are.

LinkedIn relationship

The LinkedIn relationship submenu uses the LinkedIn account connected to Kalent.

  • In relation: profiles who are already a 1st-degree connection on that account.

  • Not in relation: every other profile.

Location, job title, and employer

Three submenus list values already present in this Listing:

  • Location

  • Job title

  • Employer

The job title column is not shown in the table. The filter is available.

Sequence

On a sourcing that uses the current sequences, the submenu is named Sequence. The options are:

  • Action required

  • Scheduled

  • In error

  • Talent replied

  • Invit. waiting for acc.

  • Completed

  • Interrupted

  • Paused

  • No sequence

On a sourcing still on the previous sequences, Sequence is replaced by four submenus: LinkedIn sequence, WhatsApp sequence, Email sequence, and SMS sequence. Each submenu lists the steps of that channel, for example 1st message sent, Invitation sent, or Sending error.

The Sequence column cannot be sorted. It can only be filtered.

History

The History submenu has three checkboxes:

  • Never contacted

  • Has been contacted

  • Answer pending: a new message is waiting in History.

Last contact adds a period, with From and To, or a shortcut:

  • Last 7 days

  • Last 2 weeks

  • Last 30 days

  • Last 3 months

  • Last 6 months

  • Last 12 months

  • More than 3 months ago

  • More than 6 months ago

Clear dates removes the period. Inside this submenu, the checkboxes and the period combine as “at least one of these”.

Phone / Email

The Phone / Email submenu offers:

  • Has email

  • No email

  • Has phone

  • No phone

  • Not enriched: contact enrichment has not been completed for this profile in the workspace.

ATS

The ATS submenu appears when Kalent already shows whether a profile is in your ATS. The options are In ATS and Not in ATS.

Sort a column

Sort by clicking a column header that shows the up and down arrows. A second click reverses the order. The sort applies to the full list.

Sortable columns are:

  • Name

  • Location

  • Employer

  • Status

  • Date Added

  • Phone and Email: both headers run the same sort, first by whether a phone is present, then by whether an email is present.

  • History

Date added can be sorted. It cannot be filtered by a date range.

Search for a profile

The search icon, to the left of Filter, looks up a name, job title, location, employer, email, or phone. Search combines with the filters and the statuses.
